I had been practicing enough with my other Art Doll busts to build the confidence to make our cake topper. I sculpted Donovan and myself from polymer clay. I hand painted them with acrylics. I think we look a tad surprised but hey, give us a break......it's our WEDDING DAY!!!!!
I wish this picture had turned out more clear but you get the idea! I handmade these from rolled satin fabric. The attached greenery were parts of floral centerpieces given by me months before by me previous place of employment. I knew they would come into use!
I made these corsages for the mothers and grandmothers at our wedding. The centers are pieces of a bracelet my BFF received for free at the Kentucky Derby. She accidentally left it at my house so I converted it into something a little more to my taste.....with her permission of course!!
I will be posting several photos of my work on this blog. I enjoy creating Art Dolls, scarves, bags, oil paintings.......basically ANYTHING that can, could, or ever will be created!!!!!!!!!!!! aaaaghhh!!!!!!!!!!!! The proof lies in the current state of my WORKROOM.
